The ReOpener is Back

You may have already heard about the ReOpener if you’re on our email list. It is a simple list, really. If you want to take part, send your name and email to info at alchemy goods and you can be on the list too. We don’t share the list with anyone. Every month (or less) we send a missive including a little news of product-wise and event-worthy thoughts. If you are receiving emails from us currently and would prefer not to, we’ll remove you from the list.

So anyways, here is a better view of the ReOpener scene in the workshop the other day.

We got stuck with a packaging decision: to use a new box or just send customers the ReOpener unadorned in an envelope.  We decided to use a nice recycled box with some reclaimed materials inside. It has a little message typed into the box-top. Hopefully the new owners will read our note and keep the box for future use, or recycle it.

The final packaging looks really hot. Along with the recycled box,  there’s some reclaimed seatbelt, and an inner tube rubber band that holds it all together.  We folks on the production floor like it.

And we worked with a secret weapon of a blacksmith. Or rather, she’s not so secret after all. The thanks get spread to all for the help we received on this project. Our production team has done a great job as well.
